Krakbau Spółka Akcyjna spezialisiert sich auf Herstellung von Verkehrstunneln (Straßen- und Eisenbahntunneln) in Bergbau- Bauweise: mit Sprengstoff- und Bohrmethode. Krakbau S.A. verwendet die sog. NÖT (Neue Österreichische Tunnelbaumethode), wo das Gebirge mit Spritzbeton trocken und nass gesichert wird. Bei komplizierten geologischen Verhältnissen (starke Bewässerung) wurden die Tunnel mit einer Senkkastenmethode gebohrt. Krakbau S.A. spezialisiert sich auch auf die Renovierung und Modernisierung der Eisenbahntunnel.
